Talent Auditions

Dancing

Participants perform a choreographed routine. (Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Ballet, or Hip-Hop). This competition allows talent Scouts the opportunity to view Participants dance skill in a live audition type style. Participants may wear any costume of their choice. Participant will have a maximum of 2 minutes to perform. Music will be cut off at the 2 minute mark. Participant must provide own music in the form of a CD. No tapes. CD must be marked with Participants name and the track number he/she would like played for the performance. Participant must be a trained dancer. No exceptions.

Cheerleading or freestyle dance is not acceptable. Scouts are looking for dancers suitable for Broadway type productions and music videos only.

Singing

Participants perform a two minute song. Music will be cut off at the 2 minute mark. Participant must provide own music in the form of a CD. No tapes. CD must be marked with Participants name and the track number he/she would like played for the performance. Participant must be a trained singers or of strong vocal talent. No exceptions. Participants may wear any costume of their choice.

Songwriting

Participants perform their original song. This competition allows talent Scouts the opportunity to view Participants vocal skill and song writing capabilities in a live audition type style. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing appropriate to the song. Participant will have a maximum of 2 minutes to perform. Participant will be cut off at the 2 minute mark. Participant must provide own music in the form of a CD (if applicable). No tapes. CD must be marked with Participants name and the track number he/she would like played for the performance. No musical instruments will be provided.
